- I was born and raised in San Diego, California and began shooting photographs with my dads old Canon AE-1 back in grade school. From then on my passion became making photos that compel people into appreciating the natural environment on earth to its full beauty. I started attending Brooks Institute of Photography in March of 2006. While at school I signed a contract with then Blue Edge Outdoor Adventure Magazine and began my work there on various features and editorials and even tried my hand at selling some advertising space for the magazine. While shooting and working with Blue Edge on the side, I filled a position at Ventura Surf Shop to set up and manage a web based retail store. From there I have completed a two month internship with one of San Diego's finest Real-Estate photographers (Brent Haywood Photography). There I was taught the art of shooting high end homes. In March of 2009 in received my Bachelors Degree in Visual Journalism at Brooks Institute and am looking forward to capturing, documenting and illustrating everything you need.
